Inlei®  Brow Bomber vs Brow Henna

Browlamination and henna brows are 2 completely different treatments that both give a certain look to the eyebrows. Where you work with browlamination focused on the hair, you work more focused on the skin with henna. If you work with henna, the goal is often to create an impression on the skin, a tattoo effect. And lamination gives the hair a lift, giving you fuller and fluffy eyebrows. You can take this look from natural to extreme.

BROWLAMINATION AND HENNA BROWS, WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Browlamination and henna brows are 2 completely different treatments that both give a certain look to the eyebrows. Where you work with browlamination focused on the hair, you work more focused on the skin with henna. If you work with henna, the goal is often to create an impression on the skin, a tattoo effect. And lamination gives the hair a lift, giving you fuller and fluffy eyebrows. You can take this look from natural to extreme.

HOW LONG DO THE TREATMENTS REMAIN VISIBLE

There is also a difference here. Henna stays on the skin for 2 weeks if you are very lucky, but in practice that is usually shorter. The hairs remain visible for a little longer, on average 4 to 6 weeks. With browlamination in combination with tint/paint, it remains visible for an average of 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the hair cycle.

CAN YOU USE BOTH AT THE SAME TIME?

No, this is definitely a no from us! You use chemicals with both products. This is why you should always undergo training before offering any treatment. So that you know what you are working with and use it correctly. Ask yourself what do you want to give to your customers and choose your training accordingly.

So if you are going to use 2 product lines together, it is logical that the products will react to each other. If you are going to apply henna after lamination, there is a good chance that the color will turn out differently or not. But even worse is that you can damage the skin or hair because chemicals react to each other that should not be together in a product or treatment.

So you can really run into problems with this. It is recommended to allow 20 days in between.

CAN YOU USE PAINT DURING LAMINATION?

Yes, of course! We always recommend InLei® paint for this. This contains argan oil and is therefore also caring for the hair. Painting / tinting is also part of lamination if you want to create an even more intense and fuller look. After lamination, the shade also absorbs into the hair much faster, so pay attention to that. And you may find that you do not even want to use henna with this treatment because it can be extremely intense with lamination.

TIP TO CREATE TINTED EYELASHES AND EYEBROWS FOR A MINIMUM 6 WEEKS

What is a common mistake is that paint is often prepared in advance. So that it has been ready for use for 5 or 10 minutes or even longer. This is disastrous for a long and good result. I'll tell you why.

Paint/tint consists of molecules that grow through exposure to oxygen. You want to dye hair from the inside, so the result is much longer than if you only dye it on the outside. In order to penetrate the hairs, those molecules must be as small as possible. So only start mixing when you are actually going to use it and not before. When you do, it mixes with the keratin strands in your hair and is tinted for at least 6 weeks. If you don't do that and leave it for a while, you only paint the outside of the hair because the molecules are too big to penetrate the hair.

Besides that molecules grow, the effect also decreases after 5 minutes, so from now on only mix as soon as you start using it ;-)
