CAN YOU TAKE A LASHLIFT OR BROWLIFT TREATMENT IF YOU ARE PREGNANT?

THE DESIRE FOR BEAUTIFUL EYELASHES DOESN'T DISAPPEAR WITH PREGNANCY

Many women want to know whether they can do an eyelash lift & filler or the Brow Bomber treatment during their pregnancy. Yes, this is possible, but there are a few things you need to do in advance as a stylist and customer.

• During pregnancy, your skin may be more sensitive. This means that the stylist has to take this into account. Must work professionally and must have experience with the treatments. Then the chance of irritation is very nil because minimal work is done on the skin.
• Due to the increased hormone levels during pregnancy, but also after pregnancy, the lift may disappear within 48 hours as if there had been no treatment. This is not necessary, but the chance is 50/50, so a professional stylist will always discuss this with the customer before the treatment. If this happens, unfortunately nothing can be done about it, but the good news is that this disappears as soon as the hormone balance is reasonably normal again.
• In addition, we would also like to mention the standard contraindication that you should not place a lift with wounds in the treatment area and certainly not with a pregnancy. You don't want products to get into the wound and in the worst case to become inflamed and medication is needed to let it heal. Normally not, but certainly not during pregnancy.
• If the customer wants to have the eyelashes or eyebrows dyed for the first time, first do a patch test on the inside of the arm. In this case, too, medication is required in the event of an allergic reaction.
